The American Women's Club of Lausanne is run entirely on a volunteer basis.  There is always something you can do, no matter how little time you have, that would help.  And you will even have fun doing it!  Please contact the office, by phone during office hours (021 320 26 88) or e-mail awclausanne@hotmail.com. To continue our succesfull fundraising and community service efforts, Inge needs help in the following areas:

• The Halloween committee needs bakers, cleaners, planners, helpers and creative souls, ghouls, spooks, witches, Moms and friends for and before October 28th;

• The Donations committee needs ladies who will develop lists of potential donors, write letters, follow up on requests and pick up donations/gifts;

• The Charity committee needs help with identifying and highlighting charities

Plenty more helping hands are needed for the occasional activity, so if you have an hour, don't want to commit to a full year or a complete event, then help an hour here or there.

Just think If 500 ladies would help you 2 hours each a year to help you where needed, it would be the equivalent of someone helping you 8 hours a day every 3 days for an entire year!!! Start imagining what we can accomplish!!

Maria Williams is looking for new members for the Newsletter team: do you have a few hours a month to spare? For assistant editors, previous experience is not a requirement! Help is also needed for the Coming Events feature, proofreading, advertising, mailing and distribution. Please contact Maria.

Kids Connection

Our kids need you! Come help make our kids club a great place for moms and kids alike. Volunteer to organize a playdate, work at the Program Creche, or lend a helping hand at our annual Halloween party, or our upcoming  Kids Christmas party.  Contact Julie Wellmann for more details.
