AIWC Mission

The American International Women's Club of Lausanne (AIWC) is an organization which promotes fellowship among English-speaking women of all nationalities and encourages interest in cultural and philanthropic endeavors.

Founded in 1968 as an American organization, we have grown during our history into an international organization of 500+ women representing over 35 different countries and cultures. It is a vibrant and dynamic club which, amoung other things, fosters friendships and new skills. 

As a non-profit organization, we pride ourselves on being led by volunteers. These volunteers provide office support, leadership for various events and activities, and help us to support our broader community. 

We encourage you to look around this site to see all that we have to offer you as you establish yourself in the Lausanne area as a newcomer or, like many of our members,as a longtime residents looking to re-establish themselves by doing something different.
